Privacy Policy

DEVA Maintenance Services LTD (“DEVA Maintenance”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15816372), with registered office at 21 Queensway, Woodmansey, HU17 0TL. We provide commercial and industrial maintenance engineering services to clients across the UK.

We are the data controller for personal information we collect through this website and our business activities.

We may collect personal data through website enquiry forms, email enquiries, phone calls, quote requests and direct client contact. This typically includes:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Company name
• Job title (if provided)
• Site or location details (if provided)
• Details of the enquiry, quote request or job requirement

We use the personal data you provide to:

• Respond to enquiries and general communication
• Provide quotes and estimates
• Arrange site visits and engineering support
• Deliver maintenance engineering services
• Manage ongoing client relationships
• Keep business, accounting and legal records
• Improve our services and website performance

Our lawful bases for processing are typically legitimate interests (running our business and responding to enquiries), the performance of a contract with you or your organisation, and compliance with legal obligations.

If you join the DEVA Maintenance Academy launch list, we collect your first name, email address and the training areas you select. If you tell us you are interested in training for your team or business, you may also choose to give your company name and job role. We also record when you gave consent and basic, non-identifying information about how you reached the signup form (for example the page visited and any campaign or referral tags in the link).

We use this information to email you about new courses, free training content, launch dates and Academy updates. Our lawful basis for these marketing emails is your consent, which you give by actively ticking the consent box when you sign up.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any Academy email, or by contacting us at training@devamaintenance.co.uk. Withdrawing consent does not affect any processing carried out before you withdrew it.

We keep launch-list details for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we stop sending marketing emails and keep only the minimum information needed to record your preference and ensure you are not contacted again. We periodically review the list and remove details that are no longer needed.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

We may share personal data only where necessary with trusted service providers, accountants, insurers, legal or professional advisers, or where required by law, regulation or a valid legal request. Any third parties handling your data on our behalf are required to protect it in line with UK data protection law.

We keep personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out above, including to meet accounting, tax, insurance and other legal or regulatory requirements. Enquiry data that does not lead to a contract is kept for a reasonable period and then securely deleted or anonymised.

We take reasonable and appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request that inaccurate or incomplete data is corrected
• Request deletion of your data where there is no lawful reason for us to keep it
• Object to or restrict the processing of your data in certain circumstances
• Request the transfer of your data in a portable format where applicable
• Withdraw consent, where processing is based on your consent

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
